You have got to be kidding me. Turn Based RPGs were invented in America! "TRPG", also known as "SRPG", is like a cross between a turn based strategy game like Military Madness, and a traditional turn based RPG like Dragon Quest. Again, some people include games like Valkyria Chronicles as a TRPG/SRPG but to me that is a stretch. It is really a pure strategy game in my opinion.
