If you are sure its clean then I would try running a repair with the XP CD. That should keep all your files in place, just repair the OS. @ tedsteriscool 70C IDLE!!?? Wow... I'm afraid to ask what the temps are during load ;) I don't have any experience with gfx coolers but you may want to check the air flow of your case. Make sure its clean (dust is PCs enemy) and try to move cables and such out of the way to allow air to flow smoothly in your case. Besides that you can try getting a gfx cooler or get a slot cooler to put underneath the gfx card. Either may help although 70C idle sounds very high. @Elite1 The blue PC input is called VGA while the white input cable is called DVI. So does your TV have a DVI (white) or VGA (blue) input? Not sure why it wouldn't show but how old is the PC? |
Actually, 70 idle is quite common for the 8800's...
