I believe when they ban you from the PSN they ban your system, so he would have to buy a new PS3. And no, he won't win.

Just print a copy of the things he said that made him get banned and just let the judge/jury decide if Sony's actions were right to ban him.  If Sony was wrong then just unban him. Simple.  People are just in it for the money.
