From a reasoned Fanboy.
Taking a conversation I had over a few beers. The opponent in this sparring match a dedicated Sony Fanboy. Whereas he spouted rhetoric for the majority of the evening I think it convinces me of the existence of another Fanboy, the Die Hard, cut my nose to spite myself fanboy.
The cut my nose to spite my face is the least reasonable fanboy category convinced of their own superiority and unable to listen to any argument no matter how reasonable. They will always use outdated information in an attempt to hammer home an argument.
It is fair to say although the example above was of a Sony "cut my nose to spite my face" Fanboy they exist in all platforms.
The easiest way to spot one is to give them a competing console and watch their face scrunch up in disgust before placing said item in the bin.
