I doubt it'll disappoint. Sure, it's not going to look as absolutely graphically polished, but no CoD title has ever done so. Both on PC and console better looking engines have always been around compared to CoD titles.

But that's missing the point I think. CoD engine is designed around their gameplay, which is about set-pieces and combat mechanics and a sense of immersion without getting too realistic. Sure, it might seem odd that if you look past the particle effects most stuff is nailed down, levels have invisible walls, etc. but I doubt the majority will care so long as the gameplay is sweet.

One thing I will say though, it does annoy me when reviews slam other good titles for invisible walls, etc. but give CoD a pass due to its popularity - but that's not IW now CoD titles' fault, that oversight lies with the reviewers themselves and the poor maintenance of standards we've seen this gen for big known franchises vs newer IPs.

^^

and PC gamers arrogantly laugh at the graphics of consoles anyway - of course we do!  After all we're getting the same game in terms of gameplay, etc. with better graphics and M&K for aiming!  And if the SDK is released for PC owners we get masses of free levels and mods, too.

Although saying that I'll get it on console as I prefer a nice big couch and TV these days - plus I'm fed up buying two copies of big titles, one for me on PC and one for my son on console.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
