Same here. I never finished FF IX either for the same reason. I just hate waiting 2 minutes for a battle to start too.

I've been on disc 2 for the past 2 months... I just can't find the inspiration to finish the game...

Then don't! Might I suggest you three good PS2 games from Atlus though? ;)
