It didn't, however, take away from the fact that they still put out games that are received well. Rather than looking at the downs of the industry, focus on what it was built on, having fun PLAYING games. They put quality games, sure. But the bottom line is they still lose money on every unit of their dead last console, a console which is not gaining ground on its closest competitor and is getting violated by the Wii, and their reputation tank. They haven't just made mistakes. Nintendo made a mistake with the GC. This is the kind of fuck-up that will haunt them until the day they finally decide that they have no option BUT to quit.
