This thread pops up every few months doesn't it?
My first 360 was dead out of the box with a broken DVD drive and had it replaced within about an hour of opening it.
My second 360 that had a RRoD was an actual Dev Kit and that scared the pants off of me.
I had taken it home over Christmas vacation to do some play-throughs and it worked fine. I get back to the office, hook it up, and it red rings. I was scared out of my mind but luckily it wasn't a big deal and I had a new one the next day. ^^
