Questioner going offline stops thread cold. So I offer substitution riddle.
A man lives on the fortieth floor of an apartment building. Each day he goes to the elevation hits the button for the ground floor, and heads off to work. In the evening when he returns he gets in the same elevator, and hits the button for the thirty third floor. Gets out and runs up the stairs seven stories to his apartment.
Why does he do this.
