Yes you can. Hard drive is compatible with any 360.
Sell the busted 360 on craigslist or ebay for 40-50 bucks. The power supply and console will usually fetch you that much, especially if the seal is still present.
And then use that money (+ more)to buy a new system. It sucks but thats your best option. You keep the controller and hard drive etc...
