at least when guys have it done it can be for medical, hygiene etc reasons. According to the internet, FGM/C happens mostly in africa/asia and is a forced thing.

Female circumcision is just a euphemism for mutilating the genitals. I'm surprised people actually dignify it as a circumcision.

i know... the people who support it call it circumcision or Female Genital Cutting, whereas the WHO define it as Female Genital Mutilation. The stuff tehy do is horrible tho... look it up on wikipedia if you want to be put off your dinner.
