The only people who say Sony are doing terrible or are doomed are haters and fanboys. Sony is doing great considering the mass of mishaps they had early into this gen.

Sony is losing money (based on its last finacial report) and in last place. In what regard is Sony doing great? I can never understand the logic.

They still manage to sell consoles at the highest entry price this gen while only selling slightly less than their HD rival, are only losing $40 per console now (they were losing $240+ at launch), and their heavy hitters such as GT 5 and FF XIII will be coming out shortly. They are doing far from bad, and with future price cuts and cost reductions via the slim they won't be doing any worse in the future.

If this is how Sony is doing great, what would you say when Sony starts making money on PS3? or when PS3 sells the most consoles WW and make money on every PS3 sold? What you stated is that Sony is doing better now than what they were doing before. However, it is definitely not great.

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.
