Loss of Sensitivity. A number of men complain that a loss of sensitivity or dryness of the glans following circumcision has spoiled their sex lives. |
It's unnecessary, but so is a baptism for that matter. Circumcision is tied to religion. Besides, it definitely doesn't cause trauma. A lot of circumcisions happen shortly after birth. I don't think anyone knows how a 2 month old baby feels about anything. Other people say that circumcison violates the rights of the child, or that it should be a choice. BS as well. Nobody cares what kids think. They're the property of their parents, and if they want a relatively harmless operation with possible health benefits (and pertaining to their religious beliefs), hell, that's great.
By the way, how is anyone going to find out?
"Well, I caught a look at Johnny's dick the other day, and well...he's circumcised. I really liked the guy, but without that flap of skin, I just don't know anymore. I don't know."
Anywho, I don't know if young kids show each other their dicks these days. Must be a generational thing.
Loss of sensitivity is pretty lame. I'm not having sex with my skin flap, and most of the senses are in the tip. And the men complaining that it hurt their sex lives are probably just awful at sex anyways.

there are some things that children should decide for themselves, they are not the slaves of there parents, once they turn 16, then they can decide what religion they want to join, and decide for themselves if they want to accept the traditions of that faith.

It's not harmful to the child, and if the parents truly want it, I don't see the problem. Small children are forced to take some very painful vaccinations (via needle). Should these children wait until they're older to decide to get vaccinations against tetanus? A child can choose their religion any time they want. It's not like parents will point a gun at their child and force them to follow a religion (and even if they did, they can't control thought).
Besides, if you're going to get a circumcision, better when you're 2 months old than 16 years or so.
