If you're talking about the ending, the Chief ended the entire war with the Covenant and destroyed The Flood.  He is presumed dead by everyone, but the *Legendary* player sees differently.

Nop =p.  Also on the easiest ending you see it.  (People already said that if you beat Halo 1 on legendary you saw a different ending wonder why people are still saying it with the new games aswell).
