Everyone is crazy on here... the answer is simple... if you're not especially interested in Sony's exclusive line up there is no reason to spend more on the PS3. Get a 360... if you want those exclusive games get a PS3... all the rest of the stuff is background noise... though truthfully Xbox Live is a integrated part of the 360 and when you're connect (silver or gold) you get a lot more robust experience.
