I know its patently useless, it was just something i ran into on the major nostalgia trip i've been on since i got Boomerang. I saw that fact on the wiki article (and it was actually cited). It was something i had always wondered, since i had been a huge fan of that show when i was little, and when i grew up and was introduced to the other Duke Nukem (as well as the concept of copyright infringement), it was just one of those little contradictions that i never knew had actually been resolved.
