Agree with pot calling kettle black, disagree with them having no reason...
Cod4 was priced 50 pounds 2 years ago.
With the dollar/pounds exchange rate at that time that was 100$.
Cod MW2 will be priced 55 pounds. However due to the weak pound that is actually only 90$.
So despite the price raise Activision will make less cash/copy sold....
The price in Euros however will remain unchanged, I guess resisting the move to the Euro for so long in England is going to start hurting the country ( because price of games isn't the only thing that will go up if the Pound stays in the 1.4-1.6 exchange rate compared to the dollar and stay weak against the euro at the same time)
I expect other publishers to start raising the price of their big franchises ( including Nintento) if the Pound doesn't get stronger fast..( if it's still in the same range as now in 8 months price of many imported goods will go up)
