Haha, there's a lot of people (Looking at you bullet) that for some reason think that Sony love the PS3 and only have the PSP to prop the PS3 up. That's just not true, the fact is, Sony is putting many more good games on the PSP than the PS3 in the near future. Sony care about the consoles that are making them money, PSP and PS2.

I concur that a price cut isn't guarenteed if the slim launches, they may instead use it to reduce the amount they're losing on each PS3. Say from a $100 loss to maybe even as low as $25.

I also believe that the high yearly prediction for PS3 shipments is fairly standard stuff - predict high to raise investor confidence, also because Sony seems to actually genuinely expect more from the PS3 than anyone else does
