Delivering platform is a publisher's choice, Shio.

You can't blame Microsoft for looking after their own interests.

Otherwise you better be bitching about every single game not released on a PC.

Yes, companies do what they must for profit, but Microsoft had previously commited itself to the release of Alan Wake on the PC, a game that was first and foremost and PC game, that many PC fans had longed for. It's not legally wrong what they did, but I'd say it's ethically wrong. I do not believe they should give some sort of compensation to the PC platform or anything, the biggest one to blame is Remedy for giving Microsoft power to do such a thing.

Anyway, I brought this up more to say the real reason Alan Wake isn't coming to PC, since so many people in this thread erroneously believe that Alan Wake is not coming to PC because of piracy.

They didn't commit to it; they didn't sign a public document in front of testimonies and neither did they became sworn to that goal. They just announced it and changed plans. Which corporations do all the time. Nintendo, Sony, Valve, id, you name it, they've done it.

And Remedy can't do shit when it's MS that's paying their monthly wages. They gave away the power to do such a thing when they signed with a publisher instead of self-publishing it. They were happy to let someone else carry with the risk so it's MS's call.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).
