Seeing how a gallon of Gas is roughly 10$ in England (granted the english gallons are a little bigger) I wouldn't say game companies are the one doing most of the profiteering......
Or a movie ticket is 8.5 pounds in London ( $14 or so) or a can of coke 0.6 pounds ( $0.90, it's $0.33 in the us if you purchase packs of 12 cans...)

Again you show you know nothing about our economy.... petrol (gas) - 70% of that is tax!  Pack of 12 cokes is about 4.00, nowhere near 60p per can in supermarkets.

We also use Litres not Gallons. I don't know if the US use Imperial Gallons but 1 Imperial gallon is 4.54 litres. 1 litre of unleaded petrol (gas) can cost anything from £1 to £1.20 and Diesel is usually 10-20p more per litre. It but burns alot slower in the engine giving more mileage but less power.

And off course Movie Tickets in London will cost considerably more. They are the most classy and expensive in the country! Go anywhere not mainstream and it will be cheaper.

PS. I know you know this Ail. Its aimed kowenicki but I quoted your post because you already corrected most of his/her speculation.

Edit: Woops I ment its aimed at Ail not you Kowenicki, Sorry!

Name mix up.
