Maybe some xbox love

Maybe, but remember that Level 5 hate MS

Yes, in fact Level-5 hated Microsoft so much they developed an MMO for them. And at the time of cancellation, they wanted to someday finish it.

But the hate started AFTER that

In the months following, Level-5 President and CEO Akihiro Hino stated in a Japanese interview that the poor relations between his company and Microsoft, partially due to the latter's inexperience in dealing with Japanese developers, was one of the major reasons behind True Fantasy Live Online's cancellation. He also heavily implied that the two companies did not part amicably, and it stands to reason that the two companies most likely will never work together again

Hino said he wanted to finish, but he didn't say where. I doubt it would be for the original Xbox, anyway

Lol, ouch. MS screwed that up pretty badly.

They sure did. Don't translate that to mean they'll never work on the 360 though. What it means is that they'll never allow Microsoft to publish a game of theirs again. If the totally hypothetical Dragon Quest XI was announced for HD consoles and Square wanted it multiplatform, I doubt Level 5 would object it going to the 360 just to be spiteful. So really it's a matter of who the publisher is of their future games. Normally they stick with Sony and Nintendo, but if they venture out further into third party territory, I can see something popping up on the 360 much further along into the console cycle.
