there is none, other than perhaps the OE stopped working. In the computer realm, you rPC warrenty is hardware based, you can change the OS any time you want, also, if you don't like the tuning your car has, buy a differant car. I already posted the definition of a Monopoly, do I need to do it again?


Also, you were the one who started arguing about the matter. And it was your argument, that changing to a 3rd party ECU would give option to the customer. Otherwise, it doesn't relate to the discussion.

It does, not as far as the tuning goes because unlike PCs, cars are designed to run with a certain tuning that the manufacturer sets. With PCs, you can change your OS, not void any warrenty, and the PC will still run the way it was intended without breaking any smog laws, or cause any permanent damage.
