exactly, tbh i have no sympathy with him, if youre too lazy to read the books, youre not a fan of Harry Potter imo.

You don't have to be a hardcore HP to enjoy the movies. After reading the first book, I decided not to read them anymore but I liked the movies a lot. So thank you again for spoiling.

but if you dont read the books, you miss out on loads of stuff, so its your loss.
