Sure, there's a stereotype but not much reality to it. Keep in mind what type of personality most athletes have....a confident one. It's not that they play sports or are muscular (sure that helps) but display confidence, command, and initiative.
I'm 5' 3" and didn't have trouble with relationships depite being short. And it wasn't because I played football as most of the ladies I dated didn't know I was on the team or that I'm good looking (I'm quite average) but because I didn't portray myself as just 5' 3". Act big, act confident, act self assured - act like you've been with a woman before.
