As many have already said it's a little goldmine and I assume the PSP selling pretty well for a console which hardly got any new games was a kick in the teeth for Sony. With so many new games releasing now the PSP will easily outsell 360 and PS3 every week. (I dare anyone to bet aginst me.) :O
Take VC2 as an example, the game is going to cost considerable less than the PS3 version however will sell on par if not more. It has an anime now and it's now a franchise so putting it on PSP makes a lot of sense. The piracy excuse is a really pathetic one, contrary to popular belief not all those PSP downloads are lost sales because many of those pirates would not have been interested in buying the game initially.
