Use your PC to go to the marketplace website, login, buy what you want (it will be stacked in your download queue).
The next time you start your console, it will automatically push your new games on the HD, ready to play without having to install/uncompress anything !
...wait sorry I was referring to XBLM... 
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.
