I have to get it...I have always wanted Night Vision Goggles....and here they are. As long as it is under $200, I am getting it.

they confirmed that it will cost 150$. Hardened edition will be for 80$.

for people who thinks it is a useles gadget i have only 3 simple words:

PEEPING

AT

NIGHT

150$ for a game and ability to see naked ladies on the other side of street? that's a bargain price. now if it had only xray vision to see through clothes

I encourage you to look into the price of REAL night vision goggles, here I'll start you off: http://www.nightoptics.com/c/NightVisionGoggles/Night+Vision+Goggles.html

Notice something about them? The first generation starting price is almost $500 and it only goes up from there.

Do you honestly think that a gadget with a maximum market value of $100 is going come even remotely close to emulating the cheapest night vision headset around? This is market gimmick thats about as good as a display trophy, expecting anything more than that is asking for dissapointment.

i was joking, but again he said those are REAL NVG so while i doubt it would be like those used by the army, it's a nice present - definitely better than some Ecto-1 keychains or some other craptastic stickers. personally i think it would be good PR if they would release like 500 copies of numbered Prestige edition worldwide with real NVG for 150-200$. of course they would lose like 20-30k on those, but it would be damn awesome.
