I think you're overexaggerating. I mean, yeah, it's better, but it's not like a game with random battles is automatically unplayable. I'm playing now (this time I'll beat it) Digital Devil Saga and I'm not bothered much for the encounter rate at all.
Don't be like Val (why was he permabanned? He didn't have an alt, he only swapped accounts, he even told Naz) who refuses terminantely to play games with random battles
