No. Not at all in fact.

The PS Eye basically works in 2D, it doesn't really take in account depth and cannot "use", for instance, a push or pull gesture with you hand. It does not recognize your body either, but rather form, meaning somebody seating next to you in your sofa, facing the Eye, will interfere with your movement.

Natal does work in 3D, reading the depth of your movement (as you can read in the Natal/Burnout articles - something impossible with the PSE) and recognize bodies in a very detailed way. If you're a bit familiar with the tech, you know its just a whole different thing/level.

Coupled with facial recognition (that can, indeed be done by the PSEye i think) and the vocal part, it allow very interesting and very innovative things. More immersive than you've ever seen.

But it, of course, lies in the hands of developpers.
