When PS2 released their Slim, Xbox tried to counter by releasing a 'crystal' xbox at the same time. But i guess MS didnt release a slim that time cause they probably figured it wouldnt help the xbox anyways. But this gen i think it'd be a smart move if MS did release a slim however i wouldnt be surprised if MS wont.
