RolStoppable, yeah I guess I was observing about the market I am most familiar with. I agree with most everything you are saying though.
And I've never really cared what was considered cool. Most of my console purchases went against what was cool at the time. Not purposefully but just based on what I wanted at the time. Saturn over Playstation, and so forth. When I bought the original X-box it was simply because I wanted to play Elder Scrolls: Morrowind and my PC wouldn't run it. But overall there is no denying this sort of advertising "cool" factor does seem to play a big part in a consoles acceptance.
sguy78, I definitely see what you are saying. I would assume Transformers has done a great deal to sell the new Camero to people.
