The gaming media is not biased against the Wii.

That explains everything. If the media was biased against the Wii, there would not be similar criticism for HD games. Look at Perfect Dark Zero its graphics, plot, controls and game duration are all worse than the conduit.  It also had bugs. It got as much hate as The Conduit. Just compare the reviews from Gamepro, Gamespot, 1up, Edge, Eurogamer on both games. They take points away for the same things: plot, graphics, gameplay.
