It all looks pretty good. One thing you might want to do is check out the HD 4890 for $30 more.

Its the same brand as before but it runs faster for only a little more $$

Otherwise consider that Windows 7 and Direct X 11 cards are coming out in a few months. You may want to get your new PC now but wait until October for the latest cards when they come out.

Well, that one also doesn't have a 20 USD mail-in rebate, so it's quite a bit more.  I was trying to keep to about 1 000$ before taxes and shipping, so I'm fine with that I have.

Though I will be putting in Windows 7 RC when I get it (64-bit), and then picking it up in the fall.

Sorry if Im wrong as Im not upto date on AMD cpus.

But that MB supports 2600Mhz HT FSB but the CPU appears to be 4000Mhz HT.

Hmm... looking at Newegg's AMD motherboards, they're all 2 600 MHz. >_>  I guess this won't be a problem though, none of the user reviews said it was.

It looks like you are building a higher end computer. You should look into a 10000 rpm hard drive or a solid state drive for you os and games. keep the 7200 rpm drive for storage.

I was actually thinking of buying a cheapo SSD for that, however, when I saw that cheapo SSD >= 1 TB HDD in price, I decided "lolno."
