Yeah... and the Wii shipped 51 million months ago too.... the consoles are not selling their stock as fast as they were last year, the difference in sales and shipments is going to be bigger until either the three companies slow down shipments in the face of falling demand, or demand increases.

They didn't drop, new information can mean adjustments to the total sales....... so the last 5 weeks for instance might have looked like this before adjustments:
120k - 120k - 115k - 110k - 110k
Then after adjusting, the past weeks are all lowered:
100k - 95k - 95k - 90k - 90k
That's 105k lost for those 5 weeks alone, if that trend extended back for a few months then quite a large chunk of sales could be "lost" (even though they were ever actually sold in the first place)
