I don't think I want a Chrono Trigger remake as much as another sequel that is closer to its style. Of course I would like it for the PS3, though. Sry guys =P

I want neither.

I want developers to make a game for this era that did what Chrono Trigger did for its era. The gaming world doesn't need more rehashing where old favorites are abused and destroyed. Chrono Trigger did a lot of new exciting things and the things that weren't new were done right. That's what we need today.

And honestly, I couldn't care which console such a game would be made for. The PS3 may be hard to develop on but you can make a good game on it. The Wii may be lacking hardware power, but you can make a good game on it. The 360 may be made by Microsoft, but you can make a good game on it.

The game matters more than the platform.

I agree I love Chrono Trigger and I still play it but I don't want to see it a remake of it or try to make an unofficial sequal to it or anything.  Chrono Trigger was a new and inventive rpg for the snes at the time it came out and I would rather see a new game or game series follow in that path for this generation.
