I agree with Wii Play being top tier. Tanks or laser hockey on their own are better than some $50 games. Lucy Lawless in Kevin Sorbo's part might have helped. I didn't think of that. You have to admit that my choice of Marc Singer is pretty good though. WHo needs the ASE when you have Sharak? Shatner would have wanted a dollar for every word that he spoke and that would have probably put High Voltage into bankruptcy. Glen Danzig? I dunno. He's a known Satanist and I don't know if Nintendo would allow anything with him in it be allowed to be sold on their console. Then again, they did allow Splinter Cell: Double Agent to be released on the Wii and that's pretty tasteless there. Piccard as well? Once again. This would have cost High Voltage way too much money. It would have been like the time that the 20th Century Fox Movie Studio almost closed because of the costs of Cleopatra. Maybe you should start writing threads like this. Chainsaws make everything better. If it weren't for chainsaws, Madworld would have only sold 37 copies. |
Marc Singer was a good idea but still can you imagine how awesome it would have been hearing Xena's "lalalala" battle cry every time you pull out the ASE?
You might be right about Nintendo not allowing Glen Danzig, but then again, how could Nintendo tarnish their family friendly image any more than by releasing Wii Music uncut? That game probably has been responsible for far more Wii Remotes smashing TVs, cursing, and black eyes than any game in history. I will concede though that if Danzig were too contriversial David Hasselhoff would have been an excellent choice for the soundtrack. "Get in My Car" would have made the game.
I think you are wrong about Shatner and Patrick Stewart though. Its pretty obvious that with their inclusion The Conduit would sell at least as much as Wii Play, thus justifying their salaries.
Now Playing!
