The game is getting hyped on teh interwebz, which doesn't correlate to anything really. Look at KZ2.

For lacking features that teh interwebz thinks should be there, which again, doesn't correlate to anything.

Isnt it "teh interwebz" people who do the reviews?

As for KZ2... it lived up to what it was ment to be, a kickass shooter with the best console graphics. But that is for a different topic, and we should leave it at that.

Good god man.  Why is your hate for Forza so strong?

Something to do with 360 gamers getting to play two full Forza releases before GT5 even gets a release date.  Ever since E3 Forza has being making huge headlines and people are starting to get very petty hating on it for no reason other than it's now a serious "threat" to their beloved franchise.  People can bitch and moan over the definitive statement as long as they want, until PD actually release GT5 complete with a damage model then they're grasping at every straw they can.

Just to clarify the earlier statements that mentioned damage in the trailer at E3, there was no deformation shown in the clip so while it wasn't CGI it could and most likely was, a pre damaged model run on the ingame engine.  When GT5 finally does hit the streets a lot of you haters are setting yourselves up for a huge fall when people start to pick every flaw to pieces in the game (and there will be some).
