I'll never sign up for a game that price gouges you as much as they do. I became a member of Runescape because I liked the game, and because Jagex was a decent company that took care of the people who played for free.
Here's Adventure Quest:
"Alright, you've just discovered one of three pieces of the most super duper, awesome weapon in the game! Now, if you pay us money, you can use it. OMGWTFBBQ!"
