bardicverse said: Just a side note - XB360 exclusive means it's the only platform the game will feature on. Since it's coming to the PC as well, its not entirely exclusive - people who own PS3 systems or Wii systems and have a gaming PC can still play it without getting a 360. Just wanted to clarify for those people saying its a 360 exclusive |
An exclusive means that it's exclusive to the consoles. By your definition a lot of Nintendo's and Sony's games would not be exclusives because they also appear on their portable systems. |
Exclusive means that no one else has it, that it is the ONLY source you can play the game on. Just like "exclusive news" for a newspaper - no one else has the story, you can only read it there. So, because MW5 can be played on the PC as well, it is not exclusive to the 360. An example of an exclusive title would be Metal Gear Solid 4, Gears of War (at least I dont think a PC version was made), Zelda Twilight Princess, etc.
MW5 is NOT an exclusive title.
Not to point you out specifically, but why do people insist on altering the overall userbase for all gaming to fit their needs? Gamers for PC, HD consoles, Wii or portables are all gamers. The exclusion of any of these markets needs to stop.

We know it's also coming out on the PC it's in the damn topic. People need to stop turning every thread into a fanboy pissing contest. If you have a PC that will play this game then that's wonderful, if not and you have a 360 then bravo for you too. Anyone that is more interested in arguing if it's a "console exclusive" instead of just talking about the actual game needs to seriously get a life.

Exactly, Im just throwing water on fanboy fires here, as their claims of "exclusivity" is just flamebait for sony fans and whatnot. I'm just setting right what is wrong, so you're addressing the wrong posting.
Btw, I'd be careful with using lines like "get a life", as telling people what to and not to post on an internet gaming forum wouldn't exactly be called "living life".
