you just cannot say that Halo copied StarshipTrooper's because In my Opinion, very many game's or iP's get their influence from other's works ESP. book's take TOLKIN'S :LORD OF THE RING'S pretty much every fantasy electronic game RPG or PEN an Paper rpg fantasy gamehas taken some influence from tolkin's works, that does not mean it was directly copied it just may mean it was a influence in their way of portraying something that they enjoyed from childhood, or from as an adult reading those book's.
