Now that's funny.  You call the Resistance series generic and then talk about Killzone 2 like it isn't.

And I seriously doubt I would buy R3.  The first one wasn't bad and was a good throwback to older FPS games, the second one just wasn't that good at all and they threw out a lot of the things that made the first enjoyable, so I'm just not expecting much from the third.

There are plenty of generic shooters that I can play now, why wait?

I totally agree Resistance 2 was a bit boring. I had to force myself to play through it once I got 2/3 through. The story seemed to take a huge nose dive. If they briing back the play style of the original and make they story good again then maybe I will buy it. This time around if a 3rd does come it will likely be a rent.
