As many have pointed out just cover the air vents and leave it in the sun. Make sure video is plugged in or it will not start all the way up and get as hot - leave Gears or GTA in the drive........make sure USB door is closed and mem slots taped over - I have done this 3 times to kill off an aging box or to get an RROD for free repair when the drive was toast.
