@axum : Actually, your 360 would freeze even if you didn't put Blurays in it. It's a feature called RROD designed to make sure you stop playing and pay your Live subscription fee every month.
The jet noise is considered as normal. That's the only part of Flight Simulator Microsoft decided to keep when they closed the studio.
