1) Too bad, Vidzone is great with tons of Sony exclusive content you can't find easily on TV. Of course Sony is a music corp.
2) I like having a browser on my PS3, I can access every website including this one, or twitter, or youtube, anything. It's amazing something as simple is not available on 360 while you pay for it.
Lets see... browser on PC or browser on a console. Browser with full compatibility for all websites (flash, java, shockwave, etc) or broswer with limited compatibilities. Browser using keyboard and mouse and very fast loading times or browser with controller and slow typing and slow loading.... Hmm.....
3) Your loss, there are plenty of nice games and spaces. E3 was shown nearly Live there too.
Nearly Live? You mean like 12 hours later is nearly Live? Home is not for everyone. That's why the majority of PSN users don't touch it.
4) they are MMORPG, I mean 64+ people on FPS, in maps. There's no such thing on Live, there are those on PSN. 256 players with MAG too. Too bad for FPS fans who like the 360 (they're very numerous).
Most FPS games are best with 16 or less players. The community that likes larger scale games is much smaller. Also, this is not a trait of the PSN, but a trait of the developers. Any game on 360 could be made to have 256 players if the developers wanted to. There just isn't any demand for this type of game and I really don't see MAG selling to more than 1 million people. Any game on XBL can use dedicated servers if the developers want it to.
5) Yes I care. The last thing I want to see when I come back from work is tons of ads on my screen, especially if I pay for that.
6) Trophies are mandatory in any game like on 360. It's been more than 1 year that it's true. I guess you don't have a PS3, but please don't tell lies.
Trophies are not mandatory. There are many games since Trophies were released that do not have trophies.
7) You pay for Live on top of your electricity, on top of your provider. YOU're the one paying too much on Live.
I guess I feel that having Netflix streaming to my HDTV, Last.fm free radio stations, 1080p streaming, party chat/video, the largest on demand marketplace, a smoother more refined networking experience, playing with more of my friends, better support for patches and a superior matchmaking service are all worth that measely $3.50 a month. I mean all I gotta do is not drink coffee for one day and I'm good
Feel free to discuss.
