When I was about 10 or 11 something happened that caused one of my action figures to fly 10 feet across my room(I forget how wide my room was exactly). Then one time the bathroom sink turned on by itself, although that could have easily been somebody just not turning off once using it.
I think GHI is a fun show to watch.. I don't know for certain about it's credibility though. Like when they are speaking english to ghosts who are like in spain and other parts of the world that don't speak english.. Sometimes they do throw out some lines of non-english dialogue.. But it's hard to justify the fact that they are mostly speaking english to ghosts that don't know.. english. I enjoy watching it though. A Haunting is also really fun show to watch. |
I think I've seen the show A Haunting. I think it is the one with the narrator that has a very creepy voice, like the narrator of the one show that used to be about various murder on A & E, and that A Haunting is on the Discovery Channel. Also these ads they are showing during the GHI commercials for the movie A Haunting in Connecticut that is supposed to be based on true events looks interesting but I don't know what true case it is supposed to be based on.

I don't know either. I can think of two other cases were the asctual hauntins were dramized for movie form:
Ammityville horror
Bell witch huantings (Is this correct?)

I think the Bell Witch one was called An American Haunting. I don't know if I support the conclusion it seemd to come to. There have been a few others. The Haunting of Hell House based on Richard Matheson's book of the same name and starring Roddy McDowell and Pamela Franklin is an amazing movie. As is the original The Haunting from the sixties based on Shirley Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House. Though fictional both of those are incredible movies.
Also, I kind of like Stephen King's Rose Red. However, I consider it to be a guilty pleasure (and The Shining was good although I like his original novel of that one the best because of the clock scene and its digging more into the history of Jack Torrance's alcoholism) .
