Probably because PS2 never had a problem getting games last gen. This gen early on it was clear developers didn't want to develop for Ps3 because it was harder. Games usually ended up with worse version then others, were delayed, or moneyhatted for timed exclusive, full exclusive or exclusive DLC which is annoying that there is so many technicalities and trap doors involving choosing a console you like then having limited games and poor ports until 08.
