Sega really burned a lot of people with the Sega CD, and then the 32X, both of which were crap. Also, Sega really got a reputation for having a lesser quality when they rushed games that came out on both the SNES and the Genesis just to beat Nintendo to market. Nintendo may have been frustrating when they delayed games, but "A Link To The Past" was a great example of what came from placing extra time into production. Microsoft definitely got help from already established billions in the vault, and some great games for the first couple of years such as "Halo" obviously, and "Ninja Gaiden", and "KOTOR" to a lesser degree. Unfortunately for Sega, the writing was already on the wall, and their reputation had already taken a hit. It really sucks because the Dreamcast is the system that I go to the most of my old sytems to play still. I wish it was Sega's return to glory. Along with Nintendo, I haven't missed a console cycle for either company, and I wish they were still around to make consoles.
