Right, so I thought about doing an AMD platform instead, using the AMD Black Edition AMD Phenom II X4 955 / 3.2 GHz processor and a Asus M4A78T-E Motherboard. I would spare around $150 compared to the i7 platform, and still be able to do a Radeon HD 5870 Crossfire when the cards come out.
Someone knows how much performance I would lose regarding multi-GPU gaming using the Phenom processor?
