Bro, without a shout of a doubt if I saved up or had the money I would go 40in. There is a noticeable difference I see it everytime I go to Best Buy. I am tempted enough to hand them my credit card and say look I want that 40in but I'm not to desperate and since this isn't a thread for me, since I already own a PS3 I clearly just had to put my little 20in HDTV out there or I guess

But don't you worry I will be in that 40 in range with you guys in a couple of months. I'm considering a upgrade! When you said "40in range HDTVs are lowering in price" do you mean like the 1080p ones or 1080i?

1080p of course! Definitely 1080p! I don't even think any new TV sku coming out is 1080i only these days...

1080i tvs haven't been made since CRTs

All current HDTVs are capable of doing 1080i...and as of a couple years ago when 1080P was a luxury HDTVs only did 720P and 1080i.

They are capible of accepting a 1080i signal but will be scaled to there native resolution  weither that be 720p or 1080p

Oh so you mean 1080i ONLY? If thats the case then yeah CRT HDTVs do 1080i only for HD. Otherwise all others have progressive modes (and normal CRTs 480i).
