The crazy thing is, PGR4 has the closet colour set and lighting set to reality Ive seen. I will point out though, that it looks better with rain or snow than a sunny day. Sunny day still looks amazing but when weather effects are there they have nailed everything to do with weather. That video actually doesn't do it justice. It looks clearer and more real on my HDTV. |
I'm going to have to replay it again. I can agree that the game has a perfect colour and lighting set and looks much better in the rain and the snow.
Forza 3 on the other hand is shaping up to be a beautiful game but the colours and lighting and reflections are abit off. The reflections get warped on indents on the cars chasis and there is way to much reflection. I wish Turn 10 would tone down the reflection and the game would look so much more realistic and possibly run even smoother.
Every car has a showroom shine finish untill it has done a few laps and has got dusty making the cars themselves look much more realistic.
I like this picture the most because the Bentley has done a few laps around the course and lost most of its reflection and the car looks dusty, this is the most realistic looking Forza 3 screenshot I think.
